Finding Texts
Introduction
This site is devoted to collecting tips and resources for locating resources on texts relevant to Tibet and the Himalayas, whether in THDL, on the web, in print resources, or elsewhere. Thus if you want to find the Tibetan text entitled ngal gso skor gsum, an article in English about coronation rites in Nepal, or a Newari manuscript on death – where do you look? Several pages dedicated to distinct skills and resources needed for locating various types of texts are planned for this site. Two tips pages for finding TIbetan texts are available on this site:
Search TBRC Tibetan Titles
Enter Tibetan terms using Wylie Transliteration. "Titles" is selected by default, but you can select any combination of check boxes to search according to different criteria. For TBRC search details, see the TBRC search page.
