THDL Thematic Bibliographies

The THDL Thematic Bibliographies provide integrated access to thematic bibliographies of scholarship and other resources in diverse media pertaining to Tibet and the Himalayas. These function both as an independent online bibliographical resource and as an integrated series of bibliographies that can be used for reference within the Library's own resources.

The THDL bibliographies are administered by an international team of scholars and bibliographers, each of whom manages particular themes via our web-interactive management system. The current editorial team consists of Frances Garrett (University of Toronto), David Germano (University of Virginia), Kurtis Schaeffer (University of Virginia), and Steven Weinberger (University of Virginia). The current team creating bibliographic records consists of Zach Rowinski (University of Virginia), Jann Ronis (University of Virginia), Mark Premo-Hopkins (University of Alabama), and James Gentry (University of Virginia).

Status

The THDL Thematic Bibliographies are at present focused on modern publications and secondary sources. We are currently creating other thematic bibliographies of multi-media resources related to Tibet and the Himalayas and plan to bring these online in 2004.
