Troubleshooting

The present page documents whom to contact if you experience problems of any type with THDL pages. THDL@virginia.edu can be used for contacting us for any reason, but there are also other addresses that allow you to contact more directly the relevant THDL staff

A program doesn't work or page won't come up?

If a given THDL page won't come up for you or work properly, there are four general possibilities:

Servers crashed?

The best of projects will at times experience server crashes. If you have a reliable Internet connection and parts of our site are unavailable, this most likely means a server or program has crashed. In such a case, we rely on users to notify us so we can promptly act. You can always write thdl@virginia.edu, but more direct email routes are listed below. In writing, please send the URL you are trying to link from and a description of exactly what is going wrong.

Typos, errors, or formatting problems?

If you see typos, errors, or just formatting problems on any THDL resource, please contact us and we will fix them. You can write thdl@virginia.edu on any such issue, or you can direct it more specifically to one of the following addresses, depending on which domain of THDL it belongs to:

In addition, many individual projects have their own distinct contact addresses that can be used. When in doubt, however, or if you don't get a prompt response, always use thdl@virginia.edu.
