The Courtyard of the Hardong Apartment Compound (har gdong spyi khang = s060b)

This is the interior courtyard of the eastern portion of the Hardong apartment compound. The Hardong regional house, the largest regional house in all of Sera, had several such apartment compounds, this being one of the largest. Several stories of monks’ quarters are built overlooking the central courtyard on three sides. The fourth side (with no rooms) is the shared common wall with the western portion of the Hardong apartment compound (s060a). Instructions: Click on the panorama and, holding down your mouse, move it ("pan") to the left or right. You will see that the image moves in the direction you have selected. You can also zoom in and out using the +/- controls at the bottom of each panorama or the Shift/Ctrl keys on your computer keyboard. If you have zoomed in, you can also make the image move up or down to a certain extent. |
